Home from Home charges
Full management
Home from Home’s commission is 14% (negotiable) of the gross rent payable during any period for which the premises are let (plus tenancy agreement and inventory charges).
Please note that for renewal of tenancies, if the existing tenant wishes to stay in the property, Home from Home will only charge the cost of the tenancy agreement (£75 plus VAT). We do not charge any additional fee to landlords in this circumstance.
Letting only
Home from Home charges 50% of first gross monthly rent received (plus tenancy agreement charge and inventory compilation).
Landlords with property portfolios
If we are instructed to manage a number of properties on behalf of a client, we will charge a reduced percentage.
Inventories
Creation cost is £85 minimum. If the inventory takes longer than three hours to complete, an hourly charge will be made for each additional hour.
Check-out cost is £75 (payable by the landlord unless the tenant leaves before the end of the tenancy agreement). If the inventory takes longer than three hours to complete, an hourly charge will be made for each additional hour.
Tenancy agreements
Each set of tenancy agreements (to include one copy for the tenant and one copy for the landlord, held on file by Home from Home) costs £75. No additional cost will be made if an existing tenant renews their tenancy.

Advertising
We make no charge for advertising on internet property portals, Home from Home’s own website, initial advertising in the press or issuing mailings of property details (to financial institutions, local companies, schools, embassies etc.).
Other charges.
Details of charges for re-registering statutory rents, garage rental and such like can be supplied on request.
All charges are subject to VAT.

We will hold the tenant’s deposit, as a stakeholder, under the terms of the TDS.

Home from Home is an appointed introducer for Endsleigh Insurance Services. Products include rent guarantee insurance, as well as landlord’s buildings, contents and home emergency.
